What shoes to wear to a beach wedding?
Punta Cana had been my sister’s first romantic trip with the groom, so they picked it as their wedding destination. Easy logistics with Brazil and fun vibes made it perfect for it...!
It was an amazing wedding weekend: a 3-day program, carefully planned for the guests.
- Thursday: a welcome cocktail the day before the wedding
- Friday: the actual wedding day
- Saturday: the “free day-after”, when everyone could just to relax by the pool or the beach...!
- Sunday: a theme boat trip to Isla Saona, a national reserve

Considering the wedding was at the beach and I did not want to go “flat” nor enjoy wedges so much, I had in mind the 90mm heels from Tabitha Simmons. But... sand does not match single sole shoes, unfortunately, and right after the ceremony I changed into wedges. I kept the flats in case the wedges were too much, but ended up only wearing them the next days. The sneakers were a must to explore some wild parts of the island.

This was an amazing idea my sister had. All the girls attending the wedding were given a pair...! We had a matching pochette - the guest initials can be embroidered on them as an option.
